您一定没有听见过医院里烧伤科的孩童哭声，那些因为发肤疼痛而迸发出的撕心裂肺的哭声，让所有人都闻之心碎。
    Have you ever heard the cry of children in the burn center of a hospital? Their gut-wrenching cries from the skin pain are heart-breaking.

    五年前，六位爱心妈妈发起“天使宝贝”专项基金，定向救助不幸遭受意外伤害的贫困家庭儿童，得到了众多明星及企业家的鼎力支持。 而后，她们肩负使命前行，成立了“上海天使宝贝公益基金会”（以下简称“天使宝贝”），致力于为0-14岁遭受意外伤害的贫困家庭儿童提供救助，同时，通过儿童安全课堂等预防科普培训，提升公众特别是父母对于儿童意外伤害的认知水平，从源头避免意外伤害发生。
    Five years ago, to help children of low-income families suffering from accidental injuries, six caring mothers initiated the Angel Baby Special Foundation, which received support from many celebrities and entrepreneurs. Later, they went on and established the Shanghai Angel Baby  Charity Foundation (Angel Baby), dedicated to providing aid to children aged 0-14 from poor families who suffer accidental injuries, as well as raising public awareness, especially among parents, of children’s accidental injury through child safety classes and other prevention training to get to the root of the problem.

    截至2021年10月，“天使宝贝”已累计救助意外伤害儿童达1084名，拨付救助款项超过4100万元；开展安全课堂超过152次课，直接培训人员超过10000名，项目总受益人逾十万名。
    As of October 2021, Angel Baby has helped 504 children with accidental injuries, allocating over RMB 41 million for their aid, and conducted more than 85 safety classes, training 10,000 people directly and benefiting over 100,000 people in total.

 一、为什么发起这个项目？

I. Why We Launch This Project

据世界卫生组织2008年发布的《世界预防儿童伤害报告》，全世界每天平均约有2720名孩子遭受意外事故；据“全球儿童安全组织”的报告，中国每年有近5万名0-14岁儿童因意外伤害而死亡，平均每天超过130名；根据中国疾控中心的数据，我国儿童意外伤害占儿童死亡总量的26.1%。
    According to the World Report on Child Injury Prevention published by WHO in 2008, an average of about 2,720 children are involved in accidents every day around the world; according to Safe Kids Worldwide, nearly 50,000 children aged 0-14 die from accidental injuries every year in China, an average of more than 130 a day; and data from Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show that accidental injury accounts for 26.1% of the total number of child death in China.

孩子成长路上危险无处不在，稍有疏忽，就有可能导致无法挽回的伤害。 意外发生后，我们能做什么来最大程度补救？ 有没有方式能够降低甚至避免孩子的意外伤害？
    The path of growth is filled with danger and a slight negligence can lead to irreparable harm. What can we do to remedy the accident to the greatest extent? Is there a way to reduce or even avoid accidental injury to children?

上海天使宝贝公益基金会致力于为0-14岁遭受意外伤害的贫困家庭儿童提供救助，同时，我们通过儿童安全课堂等预防科普培训，提升公众特别是父母对于儿童意外伤害的认知水平，从源头避免更多意外伤害发生。
Shanghai Angel Baby Charity Foundation is dedicated to providing aid to children aged 0-14 from poor families who suffer accidental injuries, and raising public awareness, especially among parents, of children’s accidental injury through child safety classes and other prevention training to get to the root of the problem.

二、 Ta们为什么需要帮助？
II. Why Children Need Help

    在我们过往的项目运作中发现，很多意外伤害是家长疏于照顾导致的，而且一个孩子遭受意外烧烫伤事故，接下来数额庞大的治疗经费往往让一个贫困家庭难以承担。
    Through our past projects, we found that many accidental injuries were caused by parents’ negligence; and when a child suffers from accidental burns and scalds, the huge cost of treatment often overwhelms a poor family.

1、 治疗费用高昂
1. High cost of treatment

孩子发生意外烧烫伤事故后，除了第一时间紧急救助产生的治疗费用，烧烫伤严重的还需每年做2-3次手术，每次费用2-5万不等，治疗一般会持续至18岁，这笔高昂的治疗费用对贫困家庭来说就是天文数字，根本无力承担。
When a child incurs accidental burns and scalds, there will be the cost for first aid, plus that of 2-3 operations every year until the age of 18 for severe cases, with each operation costing RMB 20,000-50,000. Such astronomical figures are too much for low-income families to bear.

  2、 家长的安全防范意识不够

2. Parents’ inadequate safety awareness

在过往我们救助的大多数的孩子都是外省市农村的孩子，父母90后居多，留守儿童比例也很高。 这些孩子的父母或者爷爷奶奶只能给孩子提供基本的温饱和看护，他们严重欠缺对孩子的意外伤害防范意识，这就是导致很多原本可以避免的伤害悲剧性发生的始因。
Most of the children we have helped are left-behind children from rural areas in other provinces and cities, whose parents were typically born in the 1990s. The parents or grandparents can only provide the children with basic food, clothing and care, and they have little idea how they should protect their children from accidental injury, which is the root cause of many tragic accidents that could have been avoided.

上海天使宝贝公益基金会（前身为天使宝贝专项基金），成立于2018年8月，致力于开展0-14岁儿童的意外伤害预防及救助相关的公益项目。 我们通过预防科普、紧急救助等方式，提升公众特别是父母对于儿童意外伤害的认知水平，同时，合众之力为意外伤害儿童开设绿色生命通道，争取宝贵的救援时间。
Shanghai Angel Baby Charity Foundation (formerly “Angel Baby Special Foundation”), established in August 2018, is dedicated to public welfare programs related to the prevention of and aid for accidental injury of children aged 0-14. By promotion of injury prevention and giving emergency aid, we have raised the public awareness of child injury, especially that of parents; meanwhile, we have gathered the strengths of all sides to open a green life passage for children incurring accidental injuries to save more time for their aid.

四、项目执行计划
IV. Project execution plan

本项目预计将至少为200名0-14岁意外伤害儿童提供紧急救助，同时积极开展关于儿童意外伤害的的预防科普课堂。 本项目为期一年。 本次预算为一年的预算。
The project is expected to provide emergency aid to at least 200 unintentionally injured children aged 0-14, and to actively carry out child injury prevention classes. This is a one-year project and the budget is for one year.

        上海天使宝贝公益基金会成立于2018年8月，致力于开展0-14岁儿童的意外伤害预防及救助相关的公益项目。我们通过预防科普、紧急救助等方式，提升公众特别是父母对于儿童意外伤害的认知水平，同时，合众之力为意外伤害儿童开设绿色生命通道，争取宝贵的救援时间。
